Well established as the original New Zealand Surf Tour, our progression into skiing and snowboarding porvides the same excellent standard of trips and tuition for all levels.

The story begins back in 2001 when New Zealand Surf Tours (NZST) was established as New Zealand’s first surf tour company of its kind.

NZST identified a need in the market for beginners wanting to learn to surf and for international visitors wanting to experience New Zealand waves and in particular the abundance of World class breaks in the North Island.
NZST evolved over the years originally offering a One Day Tour. The company now offers Five Day Tours, Surf Schools, Heli Surfing and Custom Tours.
The tours cater to beginners, intermediate and experienced surfers searching for a real kiwi surf experience.

In 2004 it was a natural progression for NZST to take on the winter months and offer skiing and snowboarding tours to the North Islands infamous Mt Ruapehu. This lead to the re-branding of the company name to New Zealand Surf ‘n’ Snow Tours.
Our skiing and snowboarding tours cater for all levels from beginners to advanced, at reasonable prices. We have an extensive range of options and can work closely with clients to make sure they get the snowboarding or skiing experience they are after. From standard accommodation and transport packages to custom tours including lift tickets, lessons and equipment - our tours can do it all. The North island of New Zealand isn't a big place so transport times are minimal and the scenery is breath taking! Our Instructors, Judd, Kane, Rangi and Dave have been enjoying the excellent snowboarding and skiing conditions of the North island since their childhood days. The guys have been through rigorous training programs with Surfing New Zealand and each hold the Level 1 Surf Coaching Certificate, First Aid Certificate and National Lifeguard Award and/or Bronze Medallion awards. We are also well qualified to instruct you on the mountains.

Our crew have taught many surfers, snowboarders and skiiers from beginners and intermediate to the advanced and enjoy sharing their experiences.
