New Zealand offers outstanding skiing and snowboarding options in the north islands fantastic ski fieds. Our trips ensure maximum enjoyment for all levels of skiing and snowboarding.

New Zealand Surf and Snow Tours also arranges snow trips designed specifically for students and schools during the school holidays.

We have our own private accommodation house in Ohakune - an ideal spot to explore the best of the North Islands’ skiing fields and heaps of other activities. This means the groups are small and more personalised than other New Zealand operators. The students are fully supervised at all times with our experienced guides both on and off the mountain.

Enjoy 3 days of skiing/snowboarding and all day tuition.

Package Includes

• 4 days (Depart Monday and return Thursday), 3 nights dormitory style accommodation (girls and boys in separate rooms).
• All lift passes, ski hire, snowboard hire and lessons. We cater for the beginner right through to the advanced
• Breakfast and dinner (dinner at your own expense when in transit to and from Auckland). Lunch on the mountain is also at your own expense.
• Full supervision on and off the mountain
• Other activities if the mountain is closed at no extra cost.
  

Daily Itinerary

Day 1

Depart from Auckland city at 10am. Lunch stop in Otrohonga for 30 mins. Arrive in Ohakune around 3:30pm. Dinner at 6pm, movie and bed.

Day 2

Wake up 7am, breakfast at 7:15, depart for mountain at 8am. Skiing all day and return around 4:30pm. Dinner at 6pm, movie and bed.Other activities arranged if the mountain is closed.

Day 3

A repeat of day two, other activities arranged if the mountain is closed.

Day 4

More of day 2 and 3 except we finish skiing at 2pm and depart Ohakune at 3pm. Dinner stop in Otrohonga for 30 mins. Arrive in Auckland around 8:30pm.

General Information

• Tours leave Monday at 10 am and return Thursday around 8:30pm.
• Tours operate during the July and September/October school holidays.
• Very popular book early to avoid disappointment.

Bookings (Minimum Age 10)

Younger ages may be accepted if accompanied by an older sibling.

You need to complete a Student Registration Form and a Conditions of Booking Form. If you would like us to post them to you please let us know. They can then either be faxed or posted back to us.

These forms need to be completed by parents whose kids are under the age of 18. You need to declare any medical conditions you may have as well as any disabilities. We also need to know about vegetarians and any food allergies you may have. If you need to see the menu for the week please contact us.
